Chris Brown has begun his court ordered 180 days of community labor in his home state of Virginia.
The singer, who was sentenced in a Los Angeles court over the summer after pleading guilty to assaulting Rihanna on February 8, was photographed cleaning up a horse stable belonging to police on Wednesday.
The singer, 20, Tweeted on Wednesday, ” on my way to community service.”
Brown wore a safety vest with reflective yellow stripes as he was monitored by authorities while completing his work.
In addition to his more than 1,400 hours of community labor, Brown must attend a year of domestic violence counseling.
He will remain on probation for five years, and during that time he is not allowed to contact Rihanna.
