Is Chris Brown about to become the newest student at Norfolk State?
The embattled R&B singer was on campus at the college in Norfolk, Virginia (in his home state) over the weekend, taking a tour of the facilities, Access Hollywood has learned.
“He was on campus with family members,” a university spokesperson told Access. “He took a campus tour and talked with current and prospective students. There was a lot of commotion when people realized who he was.”
However, it appears Chris isn’t ready to show off his Spartan school spirit just yet.
“He did not officially apply but he did ask about online courses,” the spokesperson added.
According to a report by the school’s campus paper, The Spartan Echo, Chris was on university grounds with a family member who will be attending Norfolk State.
Chris, 19, is scheduled to appear in a Los Angeles courtroom on April 6 for arraignment on two felony charges stemming from his alleged violent incident with Rihanna on February 8.
