Chris Martin stepped out publicly for the first time since his split from Gwyneth Paltrow and he appears to have consciously uncoupled from his wedding ring.
The 37-year-old year rocker was on handat Thursday night’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony in Brooklyn where he honored singer Peter Gabriel.
“I couldn’t be more thrilled to be here,” Chris, who appeared to be in good spirits, told the crowd.

The rocker – who was not wearing his wedding band at the event – joked throughout his speech, even when he tripped up a few times delivering his lines.
This marks the Coldplay frontman’s first appearance since returning from the Bahamas with his estranged wife and kids Apple, 9, and Moses, 8, following their split news.
On the other coast, Gwyneth was seen in Los Angeles on Thursday.
