Chris Pratt Eyed For ‘Indiana Jones,’ Liam Hemsworth For ‘Independence Day’ Sequel

Can Star-Lord also be Indiana Jones?

Possibly following in the movie footsteps of Harrison Ford, Chris Pratt is reportedly being considered for the beloved role of Indiana Jones, according to Deadline.

Now that Disney owns the rights to the archaeologist adventure franchise, the studio is reportedly set to reboot the series and build a new franchise and the “Guardians Of The Galaxy” actor would seem like a great fit (especially considering his Star-Lord/Peter Quill character is very Han Solo-ish!).

(Does a reboot mean we can forget about 2008’s “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull”? We’re still not done processing the scene where Shia LaBeouf swings through the jungle with monkeys!)

The talks to get Chris, who is also starring in the upcoming “Jurassic World,” on board are reportedly very early on in the process.

In more casting news, Liam Hemsworth is reportedly being considering for the upcoming “Independence Day” sequel.

According to The Wrap, the Australian “Hunger Games” star would appear with Jeff Goldblum and Bill Pullman, who are reportedly reprising their roles in the Roland Emmerich-directed project.

Will Smith will reportedly not appear in the sequel, which is titled “ID Forever.”
