Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff have been engaged for months, but still reside in different states.
While a long-distance relationship can be trying, the former “Bachelor” says he and his bride-to-be aren’t in a rush to move in together.
“We can be kind of flexible with that,” Chris told People, when asked when Whitney will move to his farm in Arlington, Iowa.
Following Chris’ elimination from “Dancing with the Stars” this week, the farmer is excited to be able to focus more of his energy on his and Whitney’s relationship.
“I’m looking forward to getting back there this weekend and just being with her, and she’s going to probably be riding in the tractor a little bit with me,” he told the mag, adding that his time on “DWTS” did present challenges. “Anytime you’re that preoccupied mentally and physically with something else … we just didn’t have that opportunity to really focus on [our relationship] and spend that time together, so it will be nice to not have that distraction anymore.”
And farming isn’t Chris’ only skill – the reality star revealed he likes to cook for Whitney.
“I made dinner for her a few times,” he said. “I can make a mean tilapia. And steak. That’s my specialty.”
