Christina Aguilera: ‘The Voice’ Needs 2 Female Coaches

If Christina Aguilera were to get her way, “The Voice” would have double the female power.

Judges Christina, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams stopped by Monday’s Access Hollywood Live, where the lone female judge made a plea to have another woman on panel.

“I always push for that though,” Christina told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover of adding another female judge to the NBC series.

Christina, Shakira and Gwen Stefani have all been judges, but have never coached during the same season together.

“I would love to see two females on the same season in the red chairs,” she continued. “We need more female power because, look what I have to put up with all alone, all by myself.”

But Adam warned that life in the spinning red chairs with the guys isn’t for everyone.

“Any woman that comes into this mess, God bless you. I don’t understand how they do it,” he said. “We’re really stupid dudes, especially Blake.”

“The Voice” airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC.
