Cicely Tyson will be guest-starring on “How to Get Away with Murder,” ABC has confirmed to Access Hollywood.
The network did not specify Cicely’s role or when her character will make her first appearance.
Viola Davis recently received Golden Globe Award and Screen Actors Guild Award nominations for her leading portrayal of Annalise Keating.

The series will return from its mid-season hiatus with new episodes beginning Thursday, January 29 at 10/9c on ABC during Shonda Rhimes’ primetime #TGIT block.
