CMT Sets Premiere Date For ‘Nashville’ Season 5

“Nashville”
Season 5 has a premiere date.

The drama, which
was picked up by CMT after ABC chose not to renew it, will premiere on January
5 at 9 PM ET/PT.

“Nashville,” which focuses on the lives of fictional stars and rising stars of country music,
will make its CMT debut with a two-hour premiere, the network announced on Wednesday.

New episodes of the show will be available for streaming on Hulu the day after they air on CMT.

Ed Zwick and Marshall Herskovitz, who created “Thirtysomething,” will serve as showrunners of the new season.
