Cody Linley Breaks Down In Tears Over Julianne Hough; Maurice Greene Voted Off ‘Dancing’

Former Olympian Maurice Greene got the boot from “Dancing With the Stars” on Tuesday night, but 19-year-old Cody Linley was the one who broke down.

During a taped segment all of the “Dancing” pairs endured with celebrity MD, Dr. Drew Pinsky for “DWTS: The Results Show,” the former “Hannah Montana” star broke into tears when talking about his partner, Julianne Hough.

Julianne, who returned to the show Tuesday evening after taking two weeks off to recover from a recent surgery, sat next to Cody as he broke down.

“How did you feel about her going into surgery?” Dr. Drew asked.

“Yeah, I mean, I was…” a visibly shaken Cody began, “really worried.”

“You really care about her,” Drew said as Cody began wiping tears from his eyes. “Is it better now that you’re seeing her and she’s OK?”

“Yeah. It’s good to see my true feelings for… Julianne,” he said as Julianne grew misty-eyed too. “She’s an amazing person and (to Julianne) you helped me grow as a person… You know how to bring out the best in me and everything and you helped me realize about myself.”

Earlier in the broadcast, Julianne revealed that she was ready to dance again with Cody if they made it through the elimination (which, with Maurice going home, they did), but the teen drew a raised eye from Samantha as he heaped more praise on his 20-year-old partner.

“It really, truly has been amazing. Julianne taught me everything I’ve known (sic),” Cody said as “Dancing” co-host Samantha Harris burst out in giggles.

“About dancing,” she clarified as Julianne’s brother, Derek Hough, stuck his head in front of the camera and raised a concerned, brotherly eye.

As for Maurice, who was eliminated alongside former “Dancing” champ Cheryl Burke, he said he enjoyed being a part of the competition even if he didn’t make the semi-finals.

“I had a lot of fun,” Maurice said. “I made a lot of new friends out here and I learned how to dance out here in front of millions of people every night. I had a great time. “

And Cheryl, who previously won “DWTS” with former partners Drew Lachey and Emmitt Smith, gave Maurice some hearty praise.

“I have to say, out of all the seasons I’ve been on this show, Maurice, you’ve been the hardest working partner I’ve ever had and you will always, more importantly, be the winner-winner-chicken-dinner of my heart,” she laughed.
