Colin O’Donoghue’s Romantic Advice For ‘Once Upon A Time’s’ Hook

After giving up his ship, The Jolly Roger, Colin O’Donoghue’s Hook seems poised to finally realize his dream of a real romance with Emma Swan on “Once Upon a Time.”

So, at last weekend’s Comic-Con, Access Hollywood had to ask Colin what romantic advice he’d give his own character to keep the girl.

“I would say, treat her well, buy her flowers, clean the dishes and give her lots of little hugs,” he said.

Colin hinted that Hook and Emma (Jennifer Morrison) will still be figuring things out when the new season comes to ABC this fall.

“It’s kind of a complicated relationship, so you’ll definitely see some sort of interactions between the two of them as they both try to figure out what it is that they’re feeling for each other,” he said.

On Hook’s end, his feelings seem pretty clear, seeing as he gave up his ship to acquire a magic bean to get to Emma in New York, a sacrifice that was revealed to Emma in the Season 3 finale.

“I think that was a pretty hard decision for Hook to make, but you know, he’s sort of feels that he can find love again with Emma and stuff, so he was willing to sacrifice his ship,” Colin said.

“Once Upon a Time” returns for Season 4 on September 28 on ABC.
