Comedian Dane Cook To Make His Broadway Debut Next Year In Neil LaBute’s ‘Fat Pig’

Funnyman Dane Cook will join Robin Williams on Broadway next year, making his own debut in a production of Neil LaBute’s “Fat Pig.”

Cook is the star of “Employee of the Month” and several HBO comedy specials. He teams up with actor Josh Hamilton this spring in the comic tale of a bachelor who falls for a plus-size girl. Other casting and dates will be announced later.

Williams will also make his Broadway debut next year in the play “Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo.”

“Fat Pig” premiered off-Broadway in 2004 and has been staged in Los Angeles, Boston and London’s West End.

LaBute’s films include “Nurse Betty” and “Your Friends and Neighbors.” He will direct the play.
