Comedy Central Ready To Roast James Franco

James Franco is going to get roasted!

The actor has been lined up as the next “roastee” on Comedy Central.

“I’ve dreamed about this roast for as long as I can remember,” James said in a statement.

“The Comedy Central Roast of James Franco” is set to tape in Los Angeles. It will premiere on Labor Day.

On Wednesday, Comedy Central also announced that it had acquired the exclusive digital rights to “Francophrenia,” a 90-minute documentary, directed by the actor, which chronicles his experience on ABC’s “General Hospital.”

James played “Franco” on the soap, an artist and psychopath, who ended up being the secret twin brother of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). The character is still on the show, but is now being played by Roger Howarth, formerly of “One Life To Live.”
