Comic-Con: ‘Iron Man 2’ Scenes Revealed, ‘True Blood’ Launching Beverage

It was another action-packed Saturday at the San Diego Comic-Con, as “Iron Man 2” stars Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Don Cheadle and Sam Rockwell, along with director Jon Favreau, took to Hall H to showcase their super-sequel.

“Nobody cared about ‘Iron Man’ until we came here,” Jon told the audience in a panel moderated by Access Hollywood’s own Scott “Movie” Mantz.

After showing a disappointing introduction clip – for which Robert tore into Jon with mock outrage – the stars showcased roughly five minutes of more impressive footage, which included Don as Jim Rhodes talking with Justin Hammer (Rockwell) and getting the first glimpse of the War Machine armor, as well as Mickey Rourke letting loose his weaponry as the villainous Whiplash.

And in other Comic-Con news, fans of HBO’s vampire drama will soon be able to get a real-life taste of “True Blood.”

A blood orange beverage, Tru Blood, will launch this fall, it was announced at the hit show’s panel at Comic-Con.

The “uniquely carbonated, slightly tart, lightly sweet” drink will start shipping on Sept. 8.
