Commissioner Rules Britney Can’t Visit With Her Kids

Britney Spears will not be able to see her children before February 19, due to a ruling in a Los Angeles courtroom this afternoon.

Commissioner Scott Gordon continued his order from January 4, which revoked Britney’s visitation rights to her children.

Another hearing in the matter has been set for the February 19 date. Until that time, Spears’ ex, Kevin Federline, will maintain sole custody of the former couple’s two children – Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1.

Six witnesses testified during the all day hearing including LAPD officer Douglas Bowler, LAPD officer Eric Martin, Pamela Strong (reportedly a visitation monitor), Lisa Hacker (reportedly a court monitor), Lonnie Jones (reportedly a bodyguard) and Federline.

Spears was stripped of her visitation rights following a standoff at the pop star’s home, almost two weeks ago.

Spears reportedly locked herself and her youngest son, Jayden James, behind a door, and refused to relinquish custody of the child, who was to be transferred back to Federline’s care.

Police took Spears to Cedars Sinai Medical Center on the evening of January 3, where she was admitted on a Code 5150 involuntary psychiatric hold.

She was released a little over 24 hours later.

Since Spears checked out of the hospital, she has been seen more and more with Adnan Ghalib, a paparazzo she seemed to form a relationship with late last year.

Last week she jetted off to Mexico for a day with the British snapper.

The two have also been spotted around the Los Angeles region holding hands.

Spears arrived for court today with Ghalib. Although the two exited the black SUV she pulled up in, the pop star never made it inside.

Instead, she got back in the vehicle, which drove her to The Little Brown Church in Studio City, and later to a nearby Argentinian restaurant.

Spears went home on Monday evening, never having made it inside the courthouse.
