‘Community’ Returning For A Sixth Season Via Yahoo Screen

“Community” lives.

The former NBC comedy will return for a sixth season, airing on Yahoo Screen, Sony Pictures Television announced on Monday.

The sixth season, kicking off this fall, will contain 13 episodes.

“I am very pleased that Community will be returning for its predestined sixth season on Yahoo,” Executive Producer Dan Harmon said in a statement. “I look forward to bringing our beloved NBC sitcom to a larger audience by moving it online. I vow to dominate our new competition. Rest easy, ‘Big Bang Theory.’ Look out, ‘Bang Bus’!”

Series star Joel McHale also issued a funny statement over the news.
