Some of the last images of Cory Monteith are being released ahead of the debut of his two final films, both of which will be screened at the upcoming Toronto Film Festival.
In a photo from “McCanick,” the late “Glee” star plays Simon Weeks, a recently released convict.
The character is departure from “Glee’s” clean-cut Finn Hudson, with the actor appearing disheveled, with long hair covered by a hoodie.
Another project starring Monteith – “All the Wrong Reasons,” a Canadian ensemble project – will also screen at the festival.
“Glee” Season 5 will premiere on September 26 – one week later than originally planned.
The 31-year-old was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room on July 13, from a fatal combination of heroin and alcohol.
