Could Paris Hilton’s Twitpic Of Chanel Purse Come Back To Haunt Her?

After her arrest for cocaine possession last Friday in Las Vegas, Paris Hilton denied the cocaine — and the purse it was found in — were hers. Now, however, she might have unexpectedly incriminated herself.

Paris’ purse confusion all started after a Twitpic she posted seven weeks ago was uncovered, in a story first reported on Radar Online on Thursday morning.

Posting a picture of the very similar purse, she Tweeted, “Love My New Chanel Purse I Got Today :).”

Radar reported that a photo of Paris from the night of her arrest appeared to show a bag similar to the one she Tweeted.

The photos call into question Paris’ story to the arresting officer.

“After I read Hilton her Miranda rights, she told me the purse was not hers and that she had borrowed it from a friend,” a police officer’s report, included in the felony possession case levied against the star, read.

Paris’ arrest came just three days after suspect Nathan Lee Parada was arrested for attempting to break into her Los Angeles homes.

Las Vegas reporter Alicia Jacobs from KSNV sat down with Paris, who opened up about the break-in incident.

“He was watching me through the windows before my boyfriend arrived, so he knew we were both in the house and he didn’t care, he was prepared with his knives,” she said.

Parada was arraigned in Los Angeles on Friday. At the hearing, he pleaded not guilty to attempted felony burglary. His next court date is on September 14.
