Country Group Gloriana Reveals Debut Album Release Date

One of Nashville’s hottest new groups, Gloriana, is set to release their much anticipated self-titled debut album on Aug. 4, Access Hollywood can report exclusively.

The album includes their Top 20 hit single “Wild At Heart,” which is the best selling single from a new country act in 2009. This week the single landed at #98 on the Top 200 Digital Singles Chart having sold nearly 100,000 copies of the single to date

The foursome has already created quite a stir over the last several months opening for Taylor Swift on her “Fearless 2009 Tour.”

They’ve also celebrated a Top 5 debut on the iTunes Country Album chart for their four-song digital collection The Way It Goes and their debut music video for “Wild At Heart” can be seen on both CMT and GAC. Gloriana is nominated for The Nationwide Insurance On Your Side Award and will perform on the 2009 CMT Music Awards Tuesday, June 16.

Gloriana was formed when brothers Tom Gossin, 27, and Mike Gossin, 24, moved to Nashville in the winter 2008 and began collaborating with Rachel Reinert, 19, and Cheyenne Kimball, 18.

After a few inspiring jam sessions, a new country band was born. Before they even had a name, the four toured the southeast, playing for free and coming up with different band names each night. Their first recordings soon found their way to Matt Serletic, who brought the group’s distinct sound to Emblem Music Group.

Known for his work with Rob Thomas, Willie Nelson, and Aerosmith, Serletic co-wrote and produced the band’s album and first single “Wild At Heart.” Gloriana’s debut album marks the arrival of a powerful and vibrant group.
