Piper Perabo will soon be headed down the aisle!
The “Covert Affairs” star, 36, is engaged to boyfriend Stephen Kay, according to People.
Stephen hails from New Zealand, and is a director and co-executive producer on Piper’s USA Network spy show.
The soon-to-be married couple is “very happy,” a source told the mag.
Piper recently spoke about balancing a demanding job with her love life when dishing on her “Covert Affairs” character’s (Annie Walker) new romance with Auggie Anderson (played by Christopher Gorham).
“As a woman who has a sort of high-powered job myself, I know how complicated a relationship can be even if it’s with somebody you’re working with,” she told during a summer set visit. “Your hours are long, the stresses are crazy and so I kinda wanted to see how the ‘Covert Affairs’ writers would imagine that.”
“I think it’s also an interesting thing to explore especially if your partner is also in a high-powered stressful job and how do you kind of manage that and keep it romantic and spontaneous,” she added.
“Covert Affairs” airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on USA.
