‘Creed’: Trailer For Michael B. Jordan & Sylvester Stallone’s ‘Rocky’ Spinoff Drops

Adonis Johnson, a boxing star in the making, is hitting the ring in “Creed,” and the trailer for the film, starring Michael B. Jordan, is here.

The new trailer features the “Fantastic Four” star as Adonis Johnson, the son of the late Apollo Creed (Rocky’s rival-turned-friend), and Sylvester Stallone as Rocky Balboa.

There are plenty of Rocky nods in the clip too, including Adonis walking into Mighty Mick’s gym and Michael’s character quoting a famous “Rocky Balboa” line at one point. “A great fighter once said it ain’t about hard you can hit; it’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward,” he can be heard saying in the trailer.

“Creed,” out this fall, will follow Adonis as he travels to the City of Brotherly Love, finds Rocky and trains with him.

“This fall, your legacy is more than a name,” is the film’s new tagline.
