Crikey! A “Crocodile Hunter” action figure with his recorded voice goes on sale next month.
Steve Irwin recorded several phrases for the toy, including one describing a crocodile rescue.
The 39-piece Steve Irwin Wildlife Adventure Series as well as plush toys and educational items will launch at the International Toy Fair in New York.
Toy maker K&M International was ready to stop the launch after Irwin died
September fourth from a poisonous stingray barb that pierced his chest, but his widow Terri wanted to go ahead.
The president of the toy company says they “want people to know what he stood for and never forget him.”
The Crocodile Hunter action figure is dressed in khaki shorts and shirt, with hiking boots.
