‘CSI’ Star Gary Dourdan Arrested On Drug Charges

“CSI” star Gary Dourdan was arrested in Palm Springs on Monday for drug possession, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

According to Palm Springs Police, at 5:12 AM on Monday, a patrol officer found a vehicle parked on the wrong side of the road with the driver reportedly sleeping inside.

When the officer approached the vehicle, Dourdan (whose real name is Robert Gary Durdin) was reportedly found “disoriented and possibly under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs,” police told Access.

Upon searching the vehicle, the officer “subsequently located suspected cocaine, heroin, Ecstasy, miscellaneous prescription drugs, and paraphernalia.”

Dourdan, 41, was placed under arrest and was booked at the Palm Springs Jail on possession of narcotics and possession of dangerous drugs.

Police said Dourdan was released on $5,000 bail at 10:30AM on Monday.

When contacted by Access Hollywood, a rep for CBS would not comment on the matter.

A rep for Dourdan was not immediately available for comment.

Earlier this month, TVGuide.com reported the actor would not be returning to “CSI” in the fall, after his contract expires in May.
