There are new champs in the “Dancing with the
Stars” ballroom.
(Spoiler alert! This story reveals which pair won
“Dancing” Season 22.)
It should come as no surprise that one of the strongest
pairs of the season — Nyle DiMarco and pro dancer Peta Murgatroyd — took home
the mirrorball.

As soon as show host Tom Bergeron announced the news, the pair’s fellow dancers filled the stage and surrounded Nyle and Peta. They hugged them and hoisted them in the air.
“This is such an amazing feeling,” Peta said after she and Nyle collected their trophies from Tom a short while later. “This whole thing has been so incredible because of this man. I owe everything to him. He is just incredible.”

Tuesday’s Season 22 victory is Peta’s second mirrorball win. She previously won one in Season 14 with former pro football player Donald Driver.
Paige VanZant and Mark Ballas came in second.
“It’s been amazing,” Paige said at the end of the show, commenting on the season. “I’m just so thankful that I got to have this opportunity. I’m going to remember it forever.”
Ginger Zee and Val Chmerkovskiy learned earlier in the evening they had placed third.
“I’m so proud and I’m so grateful for Val and I’m so grateful for just the opportunity to be here,” she said.
