Daniel Radcliffe remained box office king over the holiday weekend, as “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1” pulled in a whopping $50.3 million over Thanksgiving weekend – just inching past Disney’s “Tangled” – but will fans of the world’s most beloved wizard be seeing him on the big screen again as Gryffindor’s chosen one?
“I don’t think, I don’t think it’s going to be,” the actor told Access Hollywood correspondent Tim Vincent on the set of his new film, “The Woman in Black.”
“I certainly wouldn’t do one that hadn’t been… that wasn’t based on a J.K. Rowling book… and I don’t think she’s going to write anymore about Harry,” the 21-year-old star continued.
According to Daniel, while J.K. might not be writing about the boy wizard, the actor believes she won’t entirely be able to leave the world she created behind.
“She’ll write more books I’m sure, but I’m 99.9 percent sure they will not be about Harry,” he added.
