Daniel Radcliffe Reportedly To Star In ‘The Woman In Black’

Daniel Radcliffe is reportedly trading in wizards for ghosts.

According to The BBC, Daniel has been cast as the star of “The Woman In Black,” based on the novel by Susan Hill.

The story centers on a young lawyer in the midst of a ghostly hostage plot.

“I am incredibly excited to be part of The Woman in Black,” Daniel said to The BBC. “Jane Goldman’s script is beautifully written – both tender and terrifying in equal measure.”

Goldman, who wrote “Kick-Ass,” has reportedly written the screenplay adaptation of the novel and James Watkins will reportedly direct.

Daniel will next be seen on the big screen in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I” in November with the final chapter of the boy wizard series coming to theaters in July 2011.

In the spring of 2011, the 20-year-old actor will return to Broadway in a revival of the musical “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.”
