Danielle Staub Talks Possible New Show, Being ‘The Susan Lucci of Reality TV’

“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Danielle Staub has left her Bravo series, but she told Access Hollywood that reality TV fans haven’t seen the last of her – or her “Susan Lucci” ways!

According to Danielle, she is currently entertaining multiple offers about doing her own reality series, and could even end up back in familiar TV territory.

“I don’t know if I’m done with Bravo, but I’m off the ‘Housewives,’” she told Access on Wednesday. “There have been several large networks who have been courting me and shopping me, production companies as well.”

Danielle said that her next reality venture will delve deeper into her family and personal life.

“It’s about me, and my daughters, and my real life and my friends that surround my life… fashion shows for Christine, music for Jillian, music for myself,” Danielle explained. “Really me… I think people will be surprised who my group of friends are.”

As for which network she might go with, the “Real Close” singer will follow the cash.

“I will probably take the best offer. I have to be fair to me and to my children,” she added.

Danielle also told Access that she’s grown into being one of reality TV’s most notorious villains – just like Pine Valley’s most talked about colorful character, Erica Kane – something she’s enjoying.

”[Susan Lucci was] OK with being vilified on daytime television, and if she can be OK with that, knowing she’s this sweet, beautiful little woman… She taught me to be OK with myself, without her even knowing it,” Danielle said of the soap star. “So, if I need to be vilified, I am the Susan Lucci of reality television.”
