David Archuleta Looking For ‘Miley Touch’ On Debut Album

“American Idol” runner-up David Archuleta is looking to land at the top of the charts with a little help from the team that has cranked out hits for Miley Cyrus and Mariah Carey.

Jeff Archuleta, David’s father and manger, recently met with Rock Mafia Records, who co-wrote and coproduced eights songs on Miley’s latest, “Breakout,” E! News reported.

“They want a Miley touch to the album,” an inside source told E! “David knows he needs to have a big radio hit, and Miley’s producers are the closest thing he can get to a guarantee.”

David will reportedly lay down two Rock Mafia Records produced tracks for his 19 Recordings album over the next two weeks.

His debut album drops on the same day as “Idol” champ, David Cook, sometime in November.
