David Arquette Headed To Scream Awards For First Red Carpet Appearance Post-Split

Newly separated couple Courteney Cox and David Arquette won’t be forced to face each other at this weekend’s Spike TV Scream Awards, Access Hollywood has learned.

David will reportedly attend the ceremony with fellow “Scream” film franchise star, Neve Campbell, where the pair will present footage from the upcoming “Scream 4,” along with new castmember Emma Roberts.

However, their “Scream 4” co-star, Courteney, is not expected to attend.

Vampires are taking the sci-fi/horror awards show by storm this year – “True Blood’s” Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, Alexander Skarsgard, Stam Trammell, Kristin Bauer and Rutina Wesley will be in attendance, along with The CW’s “Vampire Diaries” stars Paul Wesley, Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder. “Twilight” ingenue Kristen Stewart has also reportedly been confirmed to attend.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Courteney and David announced they were separating after 11 years of marriage in a joint statement released on Monday.

The pair initially met on the set of the first “Scream” installment in 1995, and married in 1999. They have a 6-year-old daughter together.

The Scream Awards will be held on Saturday, but will air on Tuesday, October 19, at 9 PM on Spike.
