David Duchovny & Tea Leoni Separate

“Californication” star David Duchovny and his wife, film star Tea Leoni, have separated again, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

A rep for Duchovny confirmed the news to Access on Tuesday evening.

According to TMZ, which first reported the news, the pair has not yet decided if they will divorce.

The couple previously separated in 2008 around the time Duchovny received treatment in rehab for sex addiction.

“In light of continuous speculation over the lives and marriage of Tea Leoni and David Duchovny, the couple has confirmed that they have in fact been separated for several months,” reps for the actors said in a statement to People magazine in October 2008. “The couple had hoped to keep this separation private for the sake of their children.”

The couple eventually got back together.

Duchovny and Leoni married in 1997 and have two children, daughter Madelaine West, 12, and son Kyd, 9.
