‘Degrassi’ Ending After 14 Seasons

After 14 seasons of intense TV – shootings, drugs, pregnancies, rape, eating disorders and born-again virginity (to name a few!) – “Degrassi” is ending.

On Thursday, TeenNick announced that the final 12 episodes of the series will begin airing on July 20, with an hour-long special and new episodes will air weeknights at 9PM ET/PT for two weeks.

The series run culminates on July 31, with an hour-long special, “It Goes There: Degrassi’s Most Talked About Moments,” where cast members, creators and fans share the series’ most iconic moments at 8 PM ET/PT and then the hour-long series finale will air at 9 PM.

Famous names to rise from the halls of “Degrassi” include Drake (Jimmy Brooks), Shenae Grimes (Darcy Edwards) and Nina Dobrev (Mia Jones).
