Los Angeles prides itself on its diverse culinary landscape, but one cornerstone is the amazing avocados that come from farms all over Southern California. This recipe makes those avocados shine with the wonderfully classic flavors of a BLT, a comfort food we all know and love.

 Ingredients:

    • 1 medium sized Haas avocado, peeled and pitted
    • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice
    • 2 slices Applewood bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
    • 1 teaspoon minced fresh thyme
    • 6 cherry tomatoes cut in half
    • Kosher salt and fresh cracked black pepper

    Directions:

      1. Mash the avocado with a fork and add the lime juice, cooked bacon, and the fresh thyme.
      2. Season with salt and pepper. Toss well.
      3. Arrange whole Stacy’s® Simply Naked® Pita Chips on a platter and put 1/2
        teaspoon of the avocado mix on each chip.
      4. Top each avocado chip with a half of a cherry tomato.

       Ingredients:

      • 1/4 pound fresh ricotta
      • 1/2 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme leaves
      • 2 ounces baby arugula
      • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
      • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt

      Directions:

        1. Scoop ricotta into a small bowl, add chopped thyme, mix
          well.

          of baby arugula, drizzle with olive oil and season with salt.
