“Glee’s” Rachel Berry is getting a new friend that will greatly “Factor” into the new season.
According to TV Line, “X Factor” judge Demi Lovato is in talks to join the Fox series during Season 5 for a “significant arc.”
The actress/singer will reportedly played Dani, a friend to Lea Michele’s character. Dani is said to be a struggling artist in New York City, whose storyline is connected with new series star Adam Lambert.

Demi and Adam’s characters will reportedly have numerous songs together on the upcoming new season.
The “X Factor” judge will reportedly appear in at least six episodes of “Glee,” starting with show’s second Beatles tribute on October 3.
Demi’s reported new gig will be her first major acting role since “Sonny with a Chance” finished its run on Disney Channel two years ago. The star, who will turn 21 on Tuesday, has also made appearances on “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Prison Break,” along with two “Camp Rock” TV movies.
