Denise Richards Lands Guest Role On New Spike TV Series

Denise Richards has landed a new television gig – and it’s not a reality series.

The former Bond girl (she played Dr. Christmas Jones in 1999’s “The World Is Not Enough”) has joined the cast of Spike TV’s sitcom “Blue Mountain State” in a recurring guest role, the network announced on Thursday.

Denise will play Debra, the ex-wife of Marty Daniels, played by Ed Marinaro on the half-hour comedy. Ed plays the football coach at the school the series is centered around.

The actress and mother of two previously had guest spots on “Spin City” and “Melrose Place” and appeared in cameos on “Friends” and “Seinfeld.”

Season 2 of “Blue Mountain State” premieres on Spike TV on October 20. Denise will make her first appearance on the season’s third episode.
