Has Derek Hough found a new lady love?
The “Dancing with the Stars” hunk is getting close with “Vampire Diaries” beauty, Nina Dobrev, according to E! News.
And on Monday, the 24-year-old actress Tweeted a photo of Derek, 28, holding his Emmy award (he took home the coveted statue for Best Choreography), with the caption, “!!!!!!!! #EMMYWINNER I cant express in 140 characters how unbelievably excited+incredibly proud I am of you. You deserve this :)”
She later added a second photo, with the caption, “Those of us touched by your light got to watch you brighten up the rest of the world. Keep shining!”
Derek re-Tweeted the sweet message and replied, “[You’re] the best babe.”
Nina, who is a close pal of Derek’s sister Julianne, recently got out of a three-year relationship with her “TVD” co-star, Ian Somerhalder.
When contacted by AccessHollywood.com regarding romance rumors on Wednesday, a rep for Derek said, “We don’t comment on Derek’s personal life.“ A rep for Nina said, “We don’t comment on our clients’ personal lives.”
