Derek Hough: Sister Julianne Is ‘A Little Young’ To Get Married

Julianne Hough and Ryan Seacrest spent a romantic Parisian Thanksgiving weekend in the city of lights – but that doesn’t mean the former “Dancing with the Stars” beauty is ready to settle down just yet.

“I haven’t heard anything [about an engagement],” Derek Hough, Julianne’s handsome older brother, told People. “And I am sure I would have it if were true.”

Derek, the sexy 25-year-old dancer who recently became “Dancing’s” first-ever three-time champion (winning the mirrorball trophy with partner Jennifer Grey), opened up about whether or not he’d approve of potential nuptials between his little sister and the “busiest man in showbiz.”

“I think she might be a little young,” Derek told the mag. “But we are all very supportive, and as long as she is happy that is what matters.”

Despite Ryan and Julianne’s 13-year age difference (he is 35, she is 22), Derek said the famous TV/radio host could easily be one of the Houghs.

“We are all very similar,” he told the mag. “It’s [Ryan’s] sense of humor, work ethic and how he always puts family first.

“Everyone in my family is really happy,” he added. “It’s a good time in the Hough household.”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Ryan and Julianne first sparked romance rumors in May, when the charming couple was seen enjoying dinner together at Providence, A Los Angeles seafood hot spot.

The pair was photographed again in June, taking an arm-in-arm stroll across a Malibu beach.

Julianne was previously linked to country singer Chuck Wicks — the couple broke up in November 2009.
