A jury considering Nicollette Sheridan’s lawsuit claiming wrongful termination from TV’s “Desperate Housewives” says it is having trouble reaching a verdict.
The panel informed the court of the situation late Thursday after a little more than a day of deliberations.
Superior Court Judge Elizabeth Allen White told jurors to resume talks on Friday and to let her know if they need to hear additional arguments or ask questions.
Sheridan is seeking nearly $6 million from ABC, claiming she was fired from the show for complaining that series creator Marc Cherry struck her during an on-set dispute.
Cherry and ABC have denied wrongdoing and said a decision to eliminate the character played by Sheridan was made months before the spat.
Jurors asked one question earlier Thursday about a legal definition.
