Did ‘Glee’ Newcomer Chord Overstreet Pass On Playgirl?

It looks like fans of “Glee” newcomer Chord Overstreet won’t need a Coach Beiste mental cool down anytime soon.

Chord – who plays shaggy blond-locked Sam on the hit FOX show – has turned down a $100,000 offer to pose for Playgirl, a spokesperson for Playgirl confirmed to Access Hollywood.

While “Glee” gals stripped down for their recent much-talked about GQ photo spread, Playgirl was ready to showcase a couple of McKinley High School’s hottest hunks.

“We were saddened by Chord Overstreet’s management passing on our offer to include Chord and Mark Salling in our ‘Men of Glee’ issue,” Daniel Nardicio, a rep for Playgirl, told Access. “We feel Chord and Mark would be perfect for Playgirl, exemplifying the classic American young male. We also feel that since the women of ‘Glee’ over sexualized themselves for GQ, it would be fair and equal for the men to do it also.”

While Chord passed, did “Glee’s” resident bad boy, Puck, even consider the six-figure offer?

“$100,000 to keep my clothes on? I’ll only do it if I can take my clothes off,” Mark joked with E! Online in October when told of the offer.

However, one musically inclined star that Playgirl wasn’t interested in showing off was outspoken rapper Kanye West, whose naked photos hit the Internet earlier this month.

“[We] received an e-mail approximately one month ago offering to sell the Kanye photos and decided to turn them down,” the Playgirl rep revealed. “Kanye does not exemplify the values Playgirl is trying to show. Loudmouthed, bloated and drunk.”

A rep for Chord was not immediately available for comment on the offer when contacted by Access Hollywood.
