Did Kirstie Alley Consider Getting Her ‘Dancing’ Partner’s Name Tattooed On Her Arm?

Kirstie Alley has commemorated the journey that brought her to “Dancing with the Stars” with a tattoo.

“Unbroken,” Kirstie told Access Hollywood, repeating the words now inscribed on the underside of her left wrist.

While going under the tattooists’ needle on Monday night, Kirstie had support in the form of her “Dancing” friend and competitor, Cheryl Burke.

“I asked Cheryl to hold my hand and she did,” Kirstie told Access.

The former “Cheers” actress explained that no pattern was followed as she received her ink, and she’s pleased with the results.

“The guy did it free hand, he did it beautifully, he did it perfectly,” she said.

Kirstie picked out the word “unbroken” as a tribute to what got her to the ballroom.

“I wanted a tattoo for a long time, but I also wanted something that represented the spirit in which I’m in the show and so it’s ‘unbroken,’” she said.

The actress explained that her tattoo had nothing to do with getting up, regaining her composure and continuing to dance again after her partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, dropped her during Monday night’s rumba, after suffering a muscle cramp.

“I was getting it anyway,” Kirstie said. “I was Tweeting about it all week, I just didn’t know what I was going to say.

“Thought about getting a tat that said, ‘Falling For You,’ but…” she laughed.

“She was thinking about ‘Chmerkovskiy,’ but then it would have taken the whole wrist,” Maks chimed in.

“Then I would have had a sleeve,” Kirstie added.

In related Kirstie and Maks news, the ballroom bad boy revealed that he has received treatment since suffering the muscle cramp that led to his fall on Monday.

“I got a deep tissue massage, some electric stim[ulation].. it’s all good,” he said.
