Dina Lohan: ‘Michael Needs To Focus On Being A Parent’

Dina Lohan had some strong words for ex Michael following the celebrity dad’s recent public statements about daughter Lindsay.

“Michael Lohan needs to focus on being a parent, paying child support, of which he is six months behind, and making up for all the years he was an absentee dad,” Dina told People. “And stop going on national television talking about his children publicly.”

On Thursday, Michael taped an appearance on “Maury,” which will air October 27. During the episode where Michael discussed teen prescription drug use, he promised to do “anything and everything I have to save [Lindsay’s] life,” calling her “a hollow, hollow person.” He did not specify which prescription drugs he believes his daughter is on.

And Michael took it a step further in comments to photo agency X17 on Saturday, stating that he would attempt to get a conservatorship of Lindsay — and if not, “take her to an undisclosed location and get her straight. But I know I’m gonna get charged [with] kidnapping.”

A Lindsay source told People that the star, who made a court appearance Friday morning over her probation, may seek legal action against her father.

“Lindsay is actively getting a restraining order, her [lawyers] have already been contacted,” the source told the mag. “She’s scared. This is really serious.”
