4:48 – My interview with Randy Jackson gets interrupted when he spots our executive producer Rob Silverstein who he proceeds to interview. Gotta head into the show now!
4:32 – Kim Kardashian says to press, “I’m not doing any interviews tonight.” OK well, then why did you come to the Emmy red carpet?
4:30 – Blake Lively looks simply stunning in a red Versace gown. She says she picked it because she thought it was young and modern and loved the color.
4:20 – After I tell John Krasinski he should gain sympathy weight to go along with Pam’s pregnancy he says he’s glad I’m not writing for the show.
4:15 – Julia Louis-Dreyfus in a stunning Vera Wang dress jokes that she botoxed her whole body so she would not sweat today.
4:00 – Tina Fey and Jane Krakowski did their dress fittings across from each other for today. So they knew what each other was wearing. Tina says she has a knife hidden under her dress in case anyone pulls a Kanye on her.
3:48 – Karina Smirnoff says there will be no fighting on stage with her ex-fiance Maksim Chmerykovsky. They are professionals and will be just fine.
3:45 – Jamie Lynn Sigler fills me in on her role on “Ugly Betty.” She says she sports a mohawk in the show!
3:35 – “So You Think You Can Dance” host Cat Deeley and I discuss how hard it is not to have people step on your train here.
3:20 – Jenna Fischer from “The Office” tells me her sister Emily is pregnant and due the same time that Pam on the show is due. So she has been consulting her on what Pam would be going through at each stage.
3:12 – “Fringe’s” Anna Torv tells me she is completely starstuck and cannot believe she is at the Emmy’s.
3:10 – Christina Applegate is having a hard time with the heat. She keeps having to wipe her face off from sweat. So do I!
3:05 – Nominee Jim Parsons from “The Big Bang Theory” actually did bring my good luck charm I gave him!!!! Yay! He says he feels like I’m his Emmy bride. So he proposes to me to be his Emmy wife. I graciously accept! He says that Alec Baldwin put a hex on him at an Emmy party last night so he wouldn’t win!
3:03 – Josh Radnor from “How I Met Your Mother” jokes his date choices were between his girlfriend (“Lindsay Price” from ABC’s “Eastwick”) and his script supervisor. Lindsay won out.
3:00 – Elizabeth Perkins from “Weeds” and her husband have a fan moment when they spot Ricky Gervais. He’s equally excited to see cast members from “Damages.”
2:55 – Elisabeth Moss, nominee for “Mad Men” walks by with her fiance Fred Armisen and no one notices!
2:50 – Heidi Klum looking so cute with her pregnant belly arrives with husband Seal. He has a fan moment and asks to take picture with Michael Emerson from “Lost” and his wife Carrie Preston who stars on “True Blood.”
2:48 – My first interview is with Stanley and Phyllis from “The Office.” They invited Access Hollywood to come to the set and tape an “In Case You Missed It” segment after seeing Steve Carell’s cameo in it on Friday.
2:25 – The first celeb to hit the red carpet is Chandra Wilson, nominee for “Grey’s Anatomy.”
2:20 – Just posed for my first ever Emmy red carpet photos. Such a surreal experience. Thanks to our wardrobe team Nicole and Michelle for making me look fabulous in a BG Haute gown.
2:15 – Just got to the red carpet for my 14th Emmy Awards. It’s hot as hell out here but I’m feeling good.
