In the poster, McKenzie “Mack” (Maia) and Brady (Ross) are seen posing with their musical pals on the back of a red pickup truck parked on the sand. The tag line reads, “Same surf. New turf.”

The sequel picks up months after Mack and Brady return from a trip that transported them back in time into a 1960s beach party movie, “Wet Side Story.” They are surprised when “Wet Side Story” characters Lela, Tanner, Butchy and more show up in the present-day real life. Aware that the real world and fictional movie world can’t co-exist, the group of friends must figure out to use Lela’s magical necklace to return the characters back to the land of make believe.
“Teen Beach 2” will make waves this summer on Disney Channel.
