Disney’s ‘OCEANS’ To Benefit Reef Conservancy

See Disneynature’s new movie and you could help the environment.

During the opening week of “Disneynature OCEANS,” the film will donate $.20 per ticket to the The Nature Conversancy’s Adopt a Reef Program in the Bahamas, with a minimum donation of $100,000 pledged.

The promotion will run from April 22 – 28 – “OCEANS” arrives in theaters on Earth Day, April 22, and explores the mysteries and beauty of underwater life in footage narrated by Pierce Brosnan.

Coral reefs, by providing food and shelter to many ocean species, are essential to healthy oceans, but scientists have estimated that the Caribbean’s coral reefs could be in danger of dying out within 40 years without such conservancy efforts.
