DJ AM To Make First Official Appearance Since Crash At Jay-Z Show

DJ AM is making his official return to the turntables on Wednesday night, his first gig since surviving a Learjet crash in South Carolina.

AM’s rep confirmed to Access Hollywood that the superstar spinner will open for hip hop star Jay-Z’s show at the Los Angeles Palladium, a venue which is opening following lengthy renovations, tomorrow night.

“He’s the greatest rapper in the world,” Goldstein said in a statement to People. “This is the biggest thing that’s happened in my career.”

It is unclear at present, however, if AM (real name Adam Goldstein), will attend “Welcome Home DJ AM,” a dance event at Hollywood’s Avalon venue this evening, the rep’s star told Access.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, DJ AM and fellow musician Travis Barker survived a Lear jet crash last month, in Columbia, South Carolina. The crash led to the deaths of pilots Sarah Lemmon and James Bland, as well as Chris Baker and Charles Still, who worked for the musicians.
