Does Paul Wesley Want A ‘Vampire Diaries’/‘Secret Circle’ Crossover?

Creator of “The Vampire Diaries,” Kevin Williamson, has another hit on his hands at The CW with the recently picked up to series, “The Secret Circle,” but don’t expect a crossover between the network’s two high school-set dramas.

“It’s not going to happen,” “Vampire Diaries” star Paul Wesley told Access Hollywood backstage at Saturday’s Scream Awards in Los Angeles. “And not for any reason other than the fact that Kevin Williamson said it’s not going to happen.”

Busy filming his own show in Georgia, Paul said he hasn’t caught the witchy “Secret Circle” yet, but he already has a feeling it would take something otherworldly for a series-to-series crossover.

“I’ve never seen ‘The Secret Circle,’ so I’d have to see it first and see if it would make sense, before I could say that,” Paul admitted. “In all sincerity, I kind of feel like, if we’re going to do a crossover, it needs to be a character that was on ‘Vampire Diaries,’ who left and started his own show, in his own world, and we can then go visit that world. I think apart from that, it would be silly.”

And speaking of silly, Paul is considering repaying his “Vampire Diaries” co-star, Ian Somerhalder, back this Halloween, for something his fellow actor did to him last year.

“I was thinking about being Ian Somerhalder, because he was me last year,” Paul said of his potential costume.

So, how does Paul plan to dress up like Ian?

“I wouldn’t — that’s the whole thing,” Paul explained. “I would just squint my eyes and do that a little bit.”
