"Downton Abbey" does not return to Masterpiece on PBS until January, but fans are getting an early look at some new pics thanks to the show's official Instagram page.
The show posted two new photos that hint at a time jump for the returning series, as the son of Mary and the daughter of Tom are now walking.
One pic shows George, Mary and Matthew's son, playing with a rocking horse. According to the show, twins are playing the role.
"The dear children of #Downton Abbey are growing up. We are most delighted to introduce Oliver and Zac Barker who will play Master George Crawley in the upcoming new series. Wonderful," the show wrote on Instagram.
Actress Fifi Hart will play Sybbie Branson, the daughter of the late Sybil and former Downton chauffer Tom.
In July, several of the cast members attended PBS' portion of the Television Critics Association Summer Tour, where they teased Season 5.
"I think this series, she's quite impulsive and she's embracing her life, really," Emmy nominee Michelle Dockery, who plays Lady Mary, said. "She's kind of through the grief now. … She's got a bit of her bite back that we had in [Season] 1, which I've enjoyed playing."
Joanne Froggatt, said of her character, Anna Bates, and Anna's husband, Mr. Bates, "They're both keeping secrets from each other in order to protect the other person. … They both know they're not being quite honest with each other and they can sense it."
"Downton Abbey" Season 5 premieres January 4, 2015 on Masterpiece PBS.
