Drake Addresses Amanda Bynes’ Tweets: It’s ‘Disturbing’

After months of being the unfortunate subject of many a Tweet from Amanda Bynes, Drake has spoken out about the former Nickelodeon star’s words.

“I don’t even know who that is doing that or what that’s about,” the “Hold On, We’re Going Home” singer said in an interview with XXL magazine. “If that is her, I guess it’s a little weird and disturbing.”

In the past year, Amanda, who is currently on psychiatric hold at a Southern California hospital, has Tweeted wildly vacillating opinions about the hip hop star, from calling him “gorgeous” and stating she wants him to “murder my vagina,” to deeming him “ugly.”

The rapper said it seems like a ploy for attention.

“It’s obviously a behavioral pattern that is way bigger than me,” he told the mag. “Whoever is behind it, whether it’s her or somebody else, they know people are paying attention so they keep it going.”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, in late July, the 27-year-old actress was hospitalized for a mental health evaluation after deputies said she started a small fire in the driveway of a home in Southern California.

Amanda’s parents, Richard and Lynn Bynes, filed a petition for temporary conservatorship on July 26, but Ventura County Superior Court Judge Glen M. Reiser delayed ruling on the conservatorship petition, stating that there was no rush to act because Amanda is under a two-week psychiatric hold at the hospital.

The judge scheduled a hearing on the issue August 9, and said he also wants to meet one-on-one with Amanda before making a decision.
