Duchess Catherine & Baby George Make Trip To Join Prince William In Wales

Prince George is not yet 4 weeks old, but he’s already experienced his first royal road trip.

The latest addition to the Royal Family, accompanied by mom Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, traveled approximately 270 miles this week in a journey from the Middleton family’s Bucklebury home near London, to Prince William and Catherine’s Anglesey home in north Wales, according to People.

Though William and Catherine have lived in the Anglesey residence for three years, the Duchess and Prince George stayed at the Middleton home for the first few weeks after the baby’s birth, where Catherine’s mom, Carole, helped her daughter with baby duties.

According to the mag, Carole made the trip to Anglesey with her daughter and grandson.

On Wednesday, Prince William gave a speech at The Anglesey Show, where he praised the beautiful town and thanked locals for their welcoming demeanor.

The new dad also extended sentiments from his wife, saying, “Catherine is sorry that she cannot be here today at the County Show, but she and George would have loved to have been here.

“He’s pretty loud, but of course, very good looking,” Prince William continued. “I have to say that I thought Search and Rescue duties over Snowdonia were physically and mentally demanding, but looking after a three-week-old baby is up there!”
