Dwayne Johnson Reveals One Condition To Doing A ‘Fast Five’ Follow-Up

“Fast Five” has already made more than $568 million worldwide and Dwayne Johnson is open to filming yet another sequel, on one condition.

“Well, it all depends… on how much a** I could kick in that movie,” he told Access Hollywood with a smile backstage at Spike TV’s Guy’s Choice Awards on Saturday night.

Dwayne said he expects the team behind the successful film series is probably already at work on the sequel thanks to the major success of the last venture – its fifth, also starring original franchise names Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Jordana Brewster.

“I’m sure they’re getting ready to start writing away,” Dwayne told Access. “The best part about the success of ‘Fast Five’ is the fact of how much the fans love it.”

The actor said he’s still thrilled by the reaction to the film, which was released on April 29.

“We set out to make a good movie and the fans are a really enjoying it,” he said.

Before a sixth installment can take place, Dwayne has a number of other films on the cards, including “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island,” co-starring Vanessa Hudgens, Michael Caine and “TheHunger Games” star Josh Hutcherson.

“Journey 2: The Mysterious Island” will hit movie theaters on September 23.

The Guy’s Choice Awards airs at 9 PM on June 10 on Spike TV.
