DWTS: Bill Engvall Calls Competition ‘Most Enjoyable’ Thing Of His Life

Bill Engvall and pro partner Emma Slater defied the “Dancing with the Stars” odds and made it all the way to the final four before being eliminated on Monday night.

Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson caught up with Bill and Emma following their final dance, where the comedian said he had the best time of his life.

“When we finished that freestyle, I said if that’s our last dance then I’m happy to go now, ‘cause we had a blast. It’s just the whole experience has just been – even with the pain and the hurt and the injuries, it’s just been the most enjoyable thing I’ve ever done in my life,” the 56-year-old said.

During his thrilling “DWTS” journey, Bill gained a new lifelong friend.

“If Emma Slater called me at three in the morning and said my car’s broke down in Barstow, I’d say, ‘Sit someplace safe. I’ll be there to get ya,’” he said of his friendship with his pro partner.

Adding, “She is [and] will always be a part of my life … when she gets married, I’ll be sitting there in the church crying with her dad.”

“Dancing with the Stars” will crown a winner when the finals continue tonight at 9/8c on ABC.
