Brooke Burke-Charvet got the boot from “Dancing with the Stars” on Friday, and according to a new report, on Sunday, her replacement was named.
Erin Andrews, “DWTS” Season 10 alum, will replace Brooke, ABC confirmed on Monday morning.
“Known for being a pioneer in sports broadcasting, Andrews’s skills from the field are sure to be an asset in hosting a spirited dance competition,” ABC said in a press release announcing the news.
Like Brooke, the 35-year-old sportscaster has competed on the show (with pro partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy) — Erin and Maks made it to the finals during Season 10.
Brooke, 42, won the mirrorball trophy in 2008 with pro partner Derek Hough, before serving as the ABC reality show’s co-host with Tom Bergeron beginning in 2010.
“Dancing with the Stars” returns to ABC on March 17. This season’s cast will be unveiled on March 4 during “Good Morning America.”
